A Text Diff is most useful when you write down what the edit was meant to accomplish before reading the highlights. Compare the two versions and classify each change as intended, incidental, or unexplained. Pay attention to a line moved elsewhere; a line-based diff may present it as a deletion and addition. Then read the revised paragraph in context for meaning and flow. Exact-byte differences and editorial quality are related but separate checks.
