Character count final check: use the platform's limit

Before submitting text to a character-limited field, count the exact final string, including spaces, line breaks, and punctuation. Check whether the receiving platform counts Unicode code points, UTF-16 units, bytes, or grapheme clusters; emoji and combining marks can differ across systems. Leave a small margin if the platform's rule is unclear. Test the longest title or message, not an average example. A local count is useful only if it matches the destination's enforcement.
