A small crop test should include the feature that fails: a subject touching the edge, a transparent border, a rotated source, or a narrow target ratio. Use a harmless image and mark the expected crop boundaries. Export it, then compare actual dimensions and visible edge pixels with the preview. A generic centered photo may pass while the real issue remains. The sample is useful only if it preserves the geometry that causes the failure.
