When a PDF must be split quickly, write down the exact physical page range and the intended recipient before exporting. Open the resulting file and check its first page, last page, total count, and any pages containing sensitive material. A cover page can make printed page numbers differ from PDF page indices. If links, forms, or bookmarks are important, test them in the output. Do not send the file until those boundary checks pass, even if the tool reports success.
