Create a small Cryptomator vault in the cloud storage you use, add mixed files, and open it on another device. Simulate an interrupted sync and verify no file is silently lost. Then restore the encrypted vault files to a clean device using only the recovery materials you actually keep.
The encryption boundary is valuable, but the password, vault files, and independent backups all matter. Keep an unencrypted copy of noncritical test data until the restore drill works; never make cloud sync your only backup.
