Use Excalidraw to sketch a real decision with several collaborators. Add labels, arrows, and links, then export both an editable source and a presentation image. Open the source on another machine and check that fonts, spacing, and embedded assets remain intact.
Sketches are good for discussion but decisions need an owner and written outcome. Decide where the source file lives, who can edit it, and how sensitive diagrams are shared. The best diagram is one colleagues can still understand and revise weeks later.
