Canvas LMS

Canvas is the most widely adopted learning management system (LMS) in US higher शिक्षा, developed by Instructure. It is used by thousands of universities, community colleges, and K-12 districts to host course materials, assignments, discussions, grades, quizzes, and video content. Canvas supports LTI integrations with tools like Turnitin, Zoom, and VoiceThread. Canvas is available as Canvas Cloud (SaaS) or self-hosted. For students, Canvas is the primary portal for accessing course content, submitting work, and communicating with instructors. Outages during finals periods or submission deadlines cause widespread academic disruption.
