Import a small music collection into Funkwhale with albums, artwork, and inconsistent tags. Check library organization, streaming on the clients your listeners use, and permissions for a separate user. If sharing or federation matters, test it explicitly rather than assuming it from the interface.
Keep original audio and metadata backups. Measure the server's storage and upload workflow, and rehearse a restore. A music platform is successful when listeners can reliably find and play the right recording while the collection stays portable.
