Finding the meaningful change in a noisy diff

Separate mechanical reformatting from behavioral edits. Format both sides consistently when appropriate, then compare smaller sections and focus on changed values, removed conditions, or altered wording.

Do not normalize away meaningful differences such as array order, whitespace in code, or Unicode characters. Summarize the impact in one sentence and verify important claims against the actual output. A diff shows where text moved, not whether the new result is correct.
