Naming an image export without losing the original

Give the exported image a name that identifies its subject and use, with dimensions or version only when they distinguish real variants. Keep the source image under its own name.

For example, event-banner-1200x630-v2.webp is clearer than final2.webp. Avoid personal data in filenames if images will be shared. Check the file extension matches the actual format and preview the export before handing it off.
