Writing a useful label beside a QR code

The visible label should tell people what scanning does before they open their camera. Name the destination or action in plain language, then generate the code for the exact URL or text.

Test the finished print or display with more than one device. Include the destination domain when linking to a website, and avoid secrets or short-lived links that may fail after printing. Keep adequate white space around the code.
