Before publishing a revised text, compare it with the approved original. Review every unexpected addition, deletion, and replacement, including whitespace or punctuation that might alter code, links, or numbers. Check whether the diff normalizes line endings or case; a view that hides those changes may be inappropriate for exact data. Then read the final text in context. A diff highlights changes, but it cannot decide whether the new wording is correct.
