Public character-count example: show exact Unicode safely

A public counting issue can use harmless text that preserves the troublesome characters: an emoji sequence, combining accent, newline, or non-breaking space. Show the exact sample and the count reported by each tool or platform. Do not post private messages merely to demonstrate a limit. Explain whether you expect characters, bytes, or visible graphemes. The discrepancy often comes from counting definitions, not a broken arithmetic operation.
