Deadline contrast check: test the highest-risk text first

Under a deadline, start with body text, primary action labels, error messages, and focus indicators on the actual rendered backgrounds. Measure the weakest state first, including dark mode or disabled styling if users will encounter it. Compare ratios with the accessibility target relevant to the element; do not use one threshold for every visual object. Record any unresolved failures explicitly for follow-up rather than presenting a partial scan as a full audit. A short, accurate result is more useful than a rushed claim of compliance.
