Color contrast final check: test the actual component states

A contrast ratio is only useful for the colors users will actually see. Sample foreground and background from the rendered component, including hover, focus, disabled, and dark-mode states where applicable. Check normal text, large text, icons, and interactive boundaries against the relevant WCAG criterion rather than treating one ratio as universal. Translucent overlays can change the effective background, so measure the composited color. Save the hex values, ratio, and tested state with the handoff.
