Build a small Joomla site section with an article, menu route, media, and the user roles that will publish it. Check how editors draft, review, and correct content, then test the template on mobile and with assistive technology.
Extensions and upgrades are the real maintenance commitment. Inventory every required extension, rehearse a core and extension update on staging, and verify a full site restore. Export sample content before migration so you know what a future exit would involve.
