In Stickman Hook, the hook changes direction while gravity builds speed. Attach when a hook gives you room to swing, then release while your motion carries you toward the next safe area—not after the arc stalls.
Watch the character's travel, not just the rope angle. Practice a few attempts changing only release timing. If you repeatedly fall short, check whether you attached too late or released before gaining enough speed. Touch and keyboard input can feel different, so calibrate on the device you use.
A smooth route is usually faster than a sequence of desperate last-second grabs.
