The Currents search guide distinguishes v1 and v2 pagination; cursor-based search belongs to v2. A Currents API reader should not combine a v1 endpoint with a v2 cursor.
Preserve the query and its paging state together. Check article identities across pages before calling a collection complete, especially when new stories arrive during retrieval.
