A Wi-Fi QR code should encode the exact SSID, security mode, and password of the network you intend visitors to use. Prefer a guest network separated from work devices. Check capitalization and special characters before printing; a misplaced semicolon or backslash can make some scanners read the payload incorrectly.
Create the code with the Wi-Fi QR generator, then scan it on at least two device types. Label the network name beside it and place the print where only intended visitors can see it. When you change the guest password, replace every posted copy. A QR code makes sharing convenient, but anyone who can photograph it may retain access until the credentials change.
