Decide the shortest demonstration before starting. Close private tabs, hide notifications, and use test data if the app would otherwise show names, emails, or tokens. Record a small window or selected area rather than the whole desktop when possible.
Make a five-second test for audio, resolution, and cursor visibility. After the real capture, watch the exported file from start to end and pause on frames where private information could appear. A recording can also reveal browser tabs or system alerts for a fraction of a second.
Keep a written sentence describing the expected behavior alongside the clip.
