Partial recovery needs a precise timeline. State which map function was failing—tiles, search, routes, or live location—and which one now works. Include approximate times, broad region, app or browser, and whether a fresh load confirms the improvement. Cached tiles can make a map appear healthy even when new areas still fail.
Do not publish exact home or workplace coordinates, route history, or account identifiers. If you compare reports from others, label them separately from your own observations. Check the provider’s official incident channel before calling the service fully restored. A useful update says what remains broken and for whom, not just “it works for me.”
