Checking whether search results are truly stale

Start with one item whose current version you can open directly. Search its exact title, note the result and timestamp, then repeat with filters cleared and a private browser session.

A cached preview, delayed indexing, and a wrong filter can look similar. Record when the item changed, what search shows, and whether another account or device sees the same thing. Do not post private result URLs or document titles.
