The most useful community templates have a clear input, visible output, and a small problem others recognize: cleaning pasted text, validating JSON, preparing assets, or turning a recurring report into a consistent draft.
Before sharing in Workflows, include synthetic sample input and expected output, required permissions, likely failure cases, and whether retrying can duplicate work. Remove secrets, private URLs, and personal records from the template and screenshots. Explain which settings a new user must change before running it.
A workflow worth sharing is one another person can test safely and adapt without guessing your environment.
