A suspicious sample is a reason to pause the launch workflow, not to keep checking boxes. Record the expected output and the observed mismatch, then determine whether the issue is in the sample data, the checklist step, or the system under test. Assign an owner to run one small, repeatable check before the launch decision.
Keep the outcome explicit: proceed, proceed with a documented limitation, or block until fixed. If the sample contains private data, replace it with a safe reproduction before sharing. When the check is resolved, update the checklist with the new condition and the evidence required next time. Do not silently change acceptance criteria to make a failing sample pass.
