TiddlyWiki can function as a portable personal wiki, but saving behavior depends on how you run it. Before switching, pick a small set of linked entries with images, tags, and a custom view.
Move it into a candidate and check backlinks, search, templates, and how an edit is saved. Close the browser without network access and reopen it. Back up the whole wiki, then restore it on another machine. If several people must edit, test conflict handling rather than assuming a single-file workflow will scale to collaboration.
Document the exact storage location and recovery procedure. A successful export is not enough if the next edit goes into a different downloaded copy or silently fails to save.
