Statamic is most interesting when its content model fits both the site and the team. Test a small editorial workflow before moving an entire publication.
Model an article with an author, taxonomy, image, and reusable component. Have an editor draft, preview, revise, and publish it. Then let a developer change the template and check that the content still renders. Statamic's documentation covers the control panel, collections, and storage choices; confirm the edition and licensing for your use case.
If you plan to keep content in files or Git, test concurrent edits, merge conflicts, and deployments. If you choose a database-backed setup, test backup and export instead. Preserve URLs and metadata during a pilot migration, then roll back once. The right CMS is the one that lets content and code evolve without surprising either editors or developers.
