Move a few representative articles into Hexo, including code blocks, images, tags, and internal links. Generate the site locally and through CI, then check the deployed URLs, metadata, and mobile presentation. Have an editor make a small correction and measure the draft-to-publish process.
Themes and plugins can ease setup but add maintenance. Pin versions, keep content in source control, and rehearse a theme update. A static blog is a good fit when authors can publish reliably and the generated pages remain portable.
