Merge Puzzle

In a merge puzzle, combine matching pieces while preserving enough open cells for the next arrivals. Build toward high-value items in a controlled area, but avoid surrounding key pieces with low-level clutter. Consider whether a merge triggers movement, spawning, or chain reactions before committing. A small merge can be valuable when it restores flexibility. For a scoring or state issue, include the full board, available pieces, move order, game mode, client, and exact expected versus actual result.
