2048 is a single-player sliding puzzle game created by Gabriele Cirulli in 2014. Numbered tiles slide on a 4×4 grid and merge when two tiles with the same value collide. The goal is to create a tile with the number 2048.
Every move slides all tiles as far as possible in the chosen direction. Two tiles of the same value that collide merge into one. A new tile (2 or 4) appears after each move.
Slide all tiles in one direction using the arrow keys. Tiles with the same number merge and double in value. A new tile appears after each move. The game ends when no more moves are possible.
