Preview a link as it will appear in a feed

A correct destination can still have a confusing share card. Check the page title, description, and image with an OG image preview, then inspect the same link on the platforms where you plan to share it.

Keep important text away from image edges because cards crop differently. Verify that the image matches the page and remains legible at thumbnail size. Some platforms cache metadata, so a preview may lag behind recent edits; use their refresh tools when available. Check the published page's metadata, not only a local design file.

Avoid putting private information in titles or share images.
