- Check tuplets, articulations, lyrics, dynamics, and page layout.
- Extract a part and compare spacing and print readability.
- Test playback, sound library, MIDI input, and keyboard workflow.
- Export and re-import MusicXML and PDF; inspect what changed.
- Preserve the source score until further edits are possible.
A score that plays correctly may still print badly, and a beautiful page may lose editable notation. Evaluate both.
