Create a product with variants, tax rules, stock, and a promotion. Place an order in a test channel, capture payment through a sandbox, partially fulfill it, then cancel or refund a line. Confirm totals, inventory, notification events, and what support staff can see at each stage. If multiple regions or storefronts matter, repeat the same flow in a second channel with different currency or pricing rules.
Vendure's order model includes state transitions, payments, promotions, shipping, and channels. An alternative should be measured against your actual extensions and integrations. Budget migration time for order history and customer data, not just products.
