- Simulate retry, overwrite, and deletion; check consistency and permissions.
- Restore a bucket from backup and measure recovery time.
- Calculate storage, replication, egress, and operations costs.
An S3-compatible endpoint may still differ in edge behavior. Keep an application-level integration test and a reversible migration.
