Different users can reach a website through different networks, regions, cached routes, and account settings. A site working for a friend does not prove your device is at fault. The issue might be local, regional, or limited to a subset of accounts.

Compare the same URL and action on another network, then on another device. Note the exact error and time. A private window may help isolate extensions or stored browser state, but it will not diagnose every network or account problem. Check official incident updates and avoid assuming a quiet report chart means all systems are healthy. Give support your observations in sequence, including what worked and what failed.

“Works for other people” narrows the fault but does not prove it is local. A CDN edge, DNS resolver, ISP route, regional rollout or account-specific restriction can affect only part of the audience. Record the exact URL, visible error or status code, timestamp and timezone first. Then run a simple two-by-two comparison: the same device on another network, and another device on the same network. That separates device and network causes without destructive steps such as clearing all app data or resetting the router.
