Page extraction creates a new document from selected pages. Decide whether page numbers refer to the PDF viewer's 1-based positions or printed numbers inside the document; front matter can make them differ. Select a contiguous range or explicit pages, then preview the resulting order.
Open the new PDF and count pages. Check rotation, bookmarks, links, form fields, and whether a page was duplicated or omitted. If the extract contains sensitive material, review every included page before sending. Keep the full original and label the subset with its source version and selection criteria.
