Turbo Racing

Turbo Racing is a fast pseudo-3D arcade racer in the spirit of classic OutRun-style cabinets. Every track is procedurally generated from a seed, so the curves, crests and dips are different each time, and a field of AI rivals fights you for the lead across three laps. Drifting through corners fills your nitro reservoir, letting you trade clean cornering for explosive straight-line speed.

How to Play

Pick one of four cars — Balanced, Speedster, Drifter or Gripper — each with its own top speed, grip and nitro capacity. Accelerate with the up arrow or W, brake with down or S, and steer with the arrows or A and D. Hold Shift while steering at speed to drift, which banks nitro and drift points; press Space to unleash a boost. Stay on the asphalt — the grass kills your speed — and beat your own ghost lap to shave off seconds.

Tips & Strategies

• •Start your drift just before the apex of a corner so the slide carries you out wide on exit instead of scrubbing speed mid-turn.
• •Save nitro for long straights — boosting out of a slow hairpin wastes most of the reservoir on acceleration you would have gained anyway.
• •The Drifter car fills nitro fastest; pair it with aggressive cornering to keep a near-permanent boost on twisty tracks.
• •Drafting close behind a rival then swinging out to pass costs less speed than a wide overtake — but mind the bump if you clip them.
• •Your fastest lap becomes a translucent ghost; racing its line is the quickest way to learn where a seeded track lets you carry more speed.
