A countdown is evidence of a promotion's stated end, not evidence of a good gift. Confirm the exact item, recipient's needs, delivery date, final checkout total, and return window. Compare the sale price with a price history for the same variant and seller if available. Decide the maximum you would pay without the countdown; if the offer exceeds it, waiting is rational. Time pressure should not hide a wrong size, a missing accessory, or a return period that ends before the occasion.
