A cron expression is meaningful only under a particular syntax and scheduler. Build a simple weekday schedule, inspect the generated fields, then preview its next runs in a named time zone. Test a day-of-month rule separately from a day-of-week rule, because their combination can have scheduler-specific semantics.
A schedule near a daylight-saving change may skip or repeat a local hour. Record the dialect, expression, zone, reference instant, and expected next three runs. The crontab manual describes one common dialect.
