• Import one layered project with fonts, components, color profiles, and linked assets.
• Make a revision with collaborators and inspect comments and version history.
• Export the production formats and compare fidelity at intended sizes.
• Test keyboard access, handoff to developers, and offline availability.
• Reopen the exported source in a clean installation to reveal missing dependencies.

A replacement that reproduces the final PNG but discards layers or reusable components can make every later edit expensive.
