Use a disposable account and minimum-scope token. Test the exact publish or read operation, pagination, rate-limit responses, and how to refresh or revoke credentials. Check whether edited or deleted content appears in later reads and whether webhooks can arrive twice or out of order. Never put a live token in a public forum example.

Document platform review requirements, data retention, attribution, and fallback when a permission is withdrawn. A successful single request is not a stable integration; build a contract test and a safe failure path.
