In Minesweeper, a revealed number equals the adjacent mines. Compare each numbered cell with its flagged and unknown neighbors: if all mines are accounted for, the remaining neighbors are safe; if the remaining unknown count equals the missing mines, they are mines. Combine overlapping constraints before guessing. Flagging is a note, not proof by itself. For an invalid-board report, include dimensions, mine count, full revealed state, flags, first click, and exact contradiction.
