Load a realistic CSV or Parquet dataset into DuckDB and run the joins and aggregations your analysts need. Compare result correctness and elapsed time with the current tool. Test memory pressure, file size, and how the data will be refreshed.
DuckDB is excellent for embedded analytics, but it does not replace every multi-user transactional database. Decide who writes the source data and how reports are shared. Keep reproducible queries and source files so results can be audited and rerun.
