Create two small Duplicacy backup sources with overlapping data and different change patterns. Back them up to the intended storage, then restore selected versions after deleting local copies. Compare checksums, permissions, and the storage used after several runs.
Document snapshot retention and how encryption keys are recovered. Deduplication can save space, but recovery and repository maintenance still determine whether the tool is safe for important data. Practice a restore from a different machine.
