About Stroop Test
The Stroop Test is a classic psychology experiment that tests cognitive processing by presenting conflicting color and word information.
How to Play
A word is shown in a colored ink. Select the COLOR of the ink, NOT what the word says! For example, the word RED written in blue ink - the correct answer is BLUE.
Tips
- Focus on the ink color, not the word meaning.
- The interference gets stronger under time pressure.
- Regular practice improves cognitive flexibility.
- Read the word quickly, then deliberately shift focus to the ink color before answering.
