A string of zeros and ones becomes readable text only after its bit grouping and character encoding are defined. Try a known eight-bit ASCII sample, then a UTF-8 word that uses more than one byte per character. Verify whether the tool accepts spaces between bytes and how it handles an incomplete final group.

If output is garbled, compare the decoded bytes in hexadecimal before changing the text interpretation. A byte sequence can be valid data but invalid UTF-8; the tool should make that distinction clear. Report the exact bits, grouping rule, expected bytes, selected encoding, and displayed result.
