Image approval should be tied to where the file will appear, not merely whether it opens. Show the exported version at the expected size and background, and verify crop, legibility, color, transparency, and required dimensions. Check filenames and alternate text when they are part of the deliverable.
The reviewer should approve a specific file or version. If the batch process changes afterward, repeat the sample approval. Keep originals separate from exports and record any exceptions, such as a source that could not meet a target dimension without visible loss. Only publish files whose approval status is clear; a missing response is not sign-off.
