An eyedropper should return the color of the pixel it sampled, not an adjacent pixel shifted by image scaling. Upload a tiny test image with known blocks, click the center of each block, and compare the copied HEX, RGB, and HSL values. Test browser zoom and a high-resolution image displayed smaller than its natural size.
Semi-transparent pixels and color profiles complicate visual comparison, so report the original pixel value and background. Include image dimensions, displayed dimensions, click coordinate, chosen output format, and returned value.
