The Battle for Wesnoth is turn-based fantasy strategy with single-player and multiplayer play. The Wesnoth alternatives page is better explored through a short match than generic advice about account exports.
Play the tutorial or a small scenario and consider the pace of decisions, clarity of combat information and time a session takes. If multiplayer matters, test the intended online or hotseat setup with the same game version and agreed content.
