Model one representative part in FreeCAD using dimensions and constraints, then change a key measurement late in the process. Check whether the model updates predictably and whether a colleague can understand the feature history. Export the file format required for manufacturing or collaboration and inspect it in the receiving tool.
Also test drawings, tolerances, and assemblies if your work depends on them. Keep the native project and reference dimensions. A 3D shape that looks correct is not enough if revisions or downstream files break.
