Go (also known as Weiqi or Baduk) is one of the oldest board games in the world, originating in China over 4,000 years ago. Two players alternate placing black and white stones to control territory on the board.
Stones with no liberties are captured and removed. The game ends when both players pass. The player with more territory plus captured stones wins.
Click intersections to place stones. Surround your opponent's stones to capture them. The game ends when both players pass. The player controlling the most territory wins! Komi (6.5 points) is given to White to offset Black's first-move advantage.
